[Player/Coach Comments]

"Tsuyoshi WATANABE"
(Looking back at the opening goal)
"I had confidence that I could win with a header if a high ball was sent up, so I decided to jump in with all my might."

(Was today's opening goal as planned?)
"We practice set plays every week, but we haven't been able to score goals easily, so I really wanted to score a goal today. I'm glad I was able to score a goal in that situation."

(Sapporo, who is good at set plays, was able to score from a set play)
"I think it was a very good flow to be able to score first from a set play against a strong team in set plays. However, it's frustrating that we couldn't finish the game with a win."

(There were scenes where both teams heated up in today's match)
"I thought we would lose if we pulled back, so no matter how tough the match was, we fought with the determination to definitely win 3 points, even if it was a dirty fight."
There were some heated moments during the game, but looking back at the entire match, I think it was a game that will lead to the next one.

(The battle continues away from home)
"The challenge continues from here, but we are challengers in every game.
"If we prepare well and adjust our condition, I think it won't be such a tough game even away from home."

"Yojiro TAKAHAGI"
(The match was intense)
「How do you feel about taking one point in the unique atmosphere of Sapporo, while also wanting to win honestly?」
"Looking at it critically, it wasn't something to be completely happy about, but starting off the away 8-game streak with 1 point is something we want to view positively."

(Today's game's achievements and challenges are)
"In terms of content, I think that being able to fight tenaciously in a game where either team could have taken one point will lead to the next game."
As the next challenge, I think it's important to take the second goal and win in a game like today's.

(There was a figure working harder than usual today)
"Since it was Sapporo Dome, it wasn't hot and I was able to run."
Of course, the fans and supporters gave us a great boost.
I think I was able to run thanks to everyone's support. Next, I want to continue to do this and turn it into a win."

"Tokyo - Manager Kenta HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"Today, we are grateful for the many fans and supporters who have come to support us from Tokyo."
I think the players have played a game that meets the expectations of the fans and supporters.
In a situation where we took the lead but were caught up, both teams had chances but couldn't make it happen. This is probably the most frustrating thing for the players. However, last year we lost after leading by 2 points and conceding 3 goals in the second half, so the players have kept last year's lesson in mind and played with determination.
The game became more open from the middle, but even then, the defense line worked hard to protect and the attack continued to threaten the opponent's goal, making it a really intense game.
Despite the hot weather, the game has been slow-paced. However, I told the players that today's game would be played at a high tempo in the dome, and I believe they fought until the end.
Although we only have 1 point, I think it's a big 1 point and we want to prepare well for the next game.

(Away games continue, but what is needed to turn today's draw into a win)
"I think it's important to continue playing with the same tenacity as we did today. Even after conceding a goal, Sapporo came back with momentum, but we were able to patiently fight and bring the game to a draw. We need to maintain our focus until the end and even though it was only one point, it's still one point. I hope we can continue climbing the ladder one step at a time."

"Sapporo Petrovic Press Conference Summary"
"I expected it to be very difficult today, and it turned out to be just that. Tokyo is a very experienced, disciplined and tough opponent. We started off in a very good shape and had chances, but we couldn't convert them and couldn't take the lead."
It was good for about 20 minutes, but after that, it dropped too much and couldn't go for the ball, and couldn't go for the ball, so it dropped even further. It became such a vicious cycle.
The first half ended with a score of 1-0, but in the second half, they raised their gear and fought aggressively. It became a match where they exchanged blows in an open development.
It was good to be able to equalize in the early part of the second half. In particular, our counter attacks were sharp and we were able to put pressure on the opponent. Unfortunately, we were not able to score in the final moments, but if we can improve our accuracy in those situations, we should be able to create more scoring opportunities in the second half. However, the team played better in the second half than in the first half.
Today's reflection point was that our defense dropped back and couldn't close in on the opponent, which gave them rhythm. Other than that, we were able to create good opportunities. Although it was a draw, I think it's a good thing that we were able to play such a game against Tokyo.
The players ran until the end to turn the game around. There were some mistakes, but I want to praise their attitude and the amazing support from the fans. We will continue to prepare for next week's battle.
