《FC Tokyo U-23 Coach Tetsu NAGASAWA Press Conference Summary》
I heard that there are fans and supporters who came directly from yesterday's J1 Nagoya match. I am very grateful and believe that they have lent us their strength.
The game started off a bit sluggish in the first half, but in the second half, we changed our positions and the ball began to move forward, allowing us to score the first goal as intended.
The young players in the DF line were working hard with high concentration, but it was still a game that was very educational in terms of the nuances of competition. They were able to experience various things throughout the game, which I believe will be beneficial for their future development.
In the final stages, the 16-year-old players (Leon NOZAWA, Kojiro YASUDA) each created a chance and showed a very aggressive attitude, so I believe they will become valuable assets in the future.
Other players were also able to run and fight well in the second half, so to win games like this, aspects such as ball contests and other details will be the deciding factors, and I want to pursue those things.
The overall flow wasn't bad, so I want to approach the next battle with the mindset that being young is an opportunity for growth.
