"FC Tokyo U-23, Tetsu NAGASAWA Press Conference Summary"
"First of all, I think it was great that not only Tokyo supporters, but also Kumamoto supporters came to the first J-League match held in Miyazaki Prefecture and we were able to win."
Kumamoto is a team competing for the top spot, and is a very strong team in J3. I think that yesterday's game against J1 Tosu, where our sub-members also joined, showed a game where the players were very motivated. Whether it was Tagawa, who scored a goal, or Insoo YU, we have always had a strong desire to score and decide the game ourselves. Not only the players who scored today, but also those who contributed to the goals, I felt that the players' efforts were visible on the field.
Kumamoto was able to successfully pressure and take the ball while changing their formation, which was a commendable point. After taking the ball, they created several chances, but we want to raise the standard until we can "finish" them.
U-23 had not been winning in J3 for a while. I have been a coach for a long time, but I felt the difficulty of winning once again.
