"FC Tokyo U-23 Tetsu NAGASAWA Manager Press Conference Summary"

"First of all, it's a home game at J-VILLAGE Stadium in Fukushima Prefecture, and it's been a while since I've been to this J-VILLAGE. I've heard that the recovery from the earthquake and the recent impact of Typhoon No. 19 were significant in Fukushima Prefecture. I am grateful that today's game was able to be held in such circumstances, and I want to think about what we can do and take action as a club to continue the recovery. I feel that today's game was also a meaningful event."

The game was simple, the first half was good, and the second half was a knock-on development. In particular, the timing between the front line and the back was not in sync, and we were unable to put the ball into the front line. The cause was fatigue and the distance between players. Regarding the distance, it may change depending on the situation, but I think we spent more time standing. I believe that showing our presence even in such situations is the significance of participating in J3.

16-year-old Yasuda has played in 6 games so far, and has become accustomed to the speed of the ball, and has been playing boldly to move the ball forward. In addition, Kitada, Miyazaki, Nakamura and others have also felt the desire to get involved in J1 somehow from the first half. Yesterday, Arthur SILVA produced results in J1, and Uchida came on as a substitute at an important time. I think that players who have played in the U-23s so far will gain momentum towards winning J1 by playing and producing results in J1. We also want to fight with high intensity in the remaining games in J3.
