[Player and Coach Comments]

《Keigo HIGASHI》
(It was a disappointing result, but looking back on today's match)
"I think we were able to show our attitude of fighting without giving up until the end. Of course, I wanted to become the champion, but I believe we gained more experience than that. Our challenge continues, and as players, we must keep challenging ourselves from now on. I want to savor this frustration and connect it to the next opportunity."

(The fighting spirit was clearly evident)
"First of all, I focused on scoring the opening goal as I entered the match, but in the end, we conceded 3 goals.
Until now, we have overcome many difficult and challenging matches, but this match has made us feel the difficulty of competition once again.
However, I believe that there is definitely a meaning in having fought against Yokohama FM today, so I feel that we must never forget this match.

(It was a fulfilling year, spending much of the season in the top position)
"I feel like I've said this many times, but I want to continue to grow so that I can look back on today's experience positively. This season, the entire team truly fought for Tokyo. I want to make next season an even better year."

(The season I spent as captain for the first time in Tokyo)
"I am truly grateful to have been able to be the captain of this amazing team. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the coach, staff, and all my teammates."

Masato MORISHIGE
"At halftime, the score was 0-2. In order to win, we need to score 6 goals in the second half, which has become a realistically difficult situation."
Even in such circumstances, many fans and supporters came and fought together, so we aimed for victory and approached the second half of the battle.

(The cheers from the fans and supporters were incredible)
"Amidst the loud cheers, we fought believing in a miracle, but after conceding two goals in the first half, looking back now, I think that was when the match was decided."

(Although we did not reach the championship, it was a season that showed our strength)
"It was a wonderful season. We were able to reach the point that we could not reach last season.
I believe that the accumulation of daily efforts led us to compete for the championship until the final match.
Still, we were unable to win. I want to take that as homework for next year and use it as motivation.

《Tokyo - Coach Kenta HASEGAWA》
"The players fought with all their heart until the end on such a great stage.
We entered the match aiming to score the first goal, but that goal ended up being far away.
However, in the second half, the players showed a fighting spirit until the end even in difficult situations. I felt that fighting with that kind of mindset will lead to the next step.
We must definitely connect to the next season.
Yokohama FM fought brilliantly in the second half, showcasing the style of play characteristic of Yokohama FM today.
It is encouraging to have great rivals like Kawasaki and Yokohama FM nearby. Tokyo must also aim for the top.
I want us all to fight together so that we can hold up the trophy next time.

(We faced Yokohama FM head-on. They are a favorable opponent, but was there a difference compared to past matches?)
"The players fought with strong determination. Teerasil's shot was unlucky. However, for the second goal, we allowed the opponent to connect the ball, and in the end, we were scored on by Erik.
The goal conceded just before the end of the first half may have decided the match.
There was also a big chance here. I thought if we had taken it, but in terms of finishing ability, Yokohama FM has scored 68 goals throughout the year, so we need to improve our finishing accuracy and scoring ability as well.

(What was the impact of Diego OLIVEIRA's absence? Also, the reason for changing the system)
"The intention was to decide where to use Na SANGHO. We could have used him in a two-top formation, but I thought it would be better to attack from the sides against Yokohama FM's flat defensive line. If we don't have a speedy player, it's difficult to swap positions with the opposing defenders. I wanted to utilize Na SANGHO on the side and create chances in conjunction with Ogawa. Also, if we can't win the ball in midfield, we can't attack, so I was counting on Arthur SILVA's ball recovery ability.
However, Arthur also missed the timing to pass while carrying the ball.
If we could have passed the ball behind the defender in situations like that, it would have led to a different development. I also considered his long-range shot power as a source of goals. I think we would have started with two forwards if Diego were here, but we need to figure out what to do without him.
"When I thought about aiming for four goals while keeping a clean sheet, I chose this way of fighting."

(Reflecting on this season)
"I learned that if you don't come in first at the end, you won't gain anything."
However, we were able to compete throughout the year under the pressure of the championship race. I truly believe that it was thanks to the players' hard work, as well as the club's support and the strong cheers from our fans and supporters.
I believe we were able to show the strength of the club even with the schedule of 8 consecutive away matches.
We must ensure that this experience bears fruit in the upcoming season.

《Yokohama FM - Summary of Coach Ange POSTECOGLOU's Press Conference》
I think we had a truly wonderful performance and played fantastic football. The players really played with confidence. It was a difficult situation. It felt strange that if we lost and conceded more goals, we would give the championship to Tokyo. We can win the championship with a draw or a victory.
I think the second goal was particularly wonderful, and although we had a player sent off towards the end, we continued to attack without defending and were able to score the third goal. I am proud of the staff and the players. FC Tokyo is strong and was never an easy opponent. However, we are the winners. I am really happy.

I believe the biggest reason for our victory was convincing the players that we could win with attacking football, but what kind of approach did we take? For example, what did we say to Ilgyu PARK, who was sent off?
"I think PARK took responsibility and stepped up as he needed to, and I believe he was able to execute the plays he envisioned. When we were down to 10 men, many teams tend to go on the defensive, but as a result, we were able to score our third goal after going down to 10. The mental strength was strong, and I am proud of the players."

(I think Yokohama FM felt they became a better team compared to last season, but building a good team and winning are different. Although they lost some strength during the summer, they still maintained quality and were able to win. The main reason is)
"There is one reason, and that is we believed in our style of football and played accordingly. We require players coming to Yokohama FM to be able to play the style of football we want to implement. From the start, Edigar JUNIO achieved a wonderful record of 11 goals, and I believe we wouldn't be in this position without his goals. Unfortunately, he got injured, but I think it comes down to how much we believe in the style of football we are trying to play, and I believe that led to this result."
