[Player and Coach Comments]

《Adailton》
(Accelerated the flow of the attack after coming on as a substitute and scored a goal himself)
"Today, some players changed from the lineup of the last few matches, and I also came on as a substitute. I was glad to be able to contribute to the team's victory. The goal scene was when Arthur SILVA stole the ball and connected it to Leandro and Diego OLIVEIRA, allowing me to score. I am very happy."

(The three Brazilian players in the front line were impressive)
"I think we have been improving gradually by communicating and enhancing our coordination since the camp. It was the teamwork of all the players, not just the three, that led to today's result."

(What I was thinking while watching the match from the bench)
"I was thinking about where the spaces would open up while observing the opponent's defense. I planned to play with that image in mind if I was called upon."

(Enthusiasm for the home opener)
"I am more motivated for the next match than I was today. Today's victory allows us to approach the next match with a sense of calm, so I want to continue to seize victories in front of many fans and supporters."

Leandro
(Reflecting on today's match)
"A long season has started again today, and we were able to start with a victory. Also, being able to bring home 3 points from an away game is of great value, I believe.

(In a first half that continued in a stalemate, I changed the flow with my penalty kick)
"Looking back again, the first half was a difficult development. In the previous ACL match against Perth, the game also didn't move much, and there were times when we had to be patient, but even in such situations, we were able to connect our calm play as a team to victory.
From now on, I want to continue fighting without giving up, regardless of the situation, and to stay strong throughout the season.

(In the second half, we scored consecutive goals from the impressive collaboration of the three Brazilian forwards)
"Today's game was a victory for everyone. I believe each of us was able to play at a high level. Moreover, with the introduction of Adailton and Arthur in the second half, we were able to shift the team's gears significantly. It was thanks to the contributions of not only the starting members but also the players who came on as substitutes that we were able to secure the match."

(Regarding the second penalty kick)
"Right now, Diego is the one taking the penalty kicks for this team. However, during the second penalty kick, Diego suggested to the kicker, 'Are you going to take it?' I am really happy that I was able to score from the penalty kick, and I am really glad that the team was able to win the opening match."

《Diego OLIVEIRA》
"I am relieved that I was able to score a goal today. From here on, I think I can aim for goals with a calmer mindset. Of course, I am happy about my goal, but what makes me happiest is that we were able to achieve victory as a team."

(From the middle of the match, three Brazilian players lined up in the front line, and the passes connected well, making it exciting to watch)
"I think the biggest factor contributing to the smooth passing is that we can easily communicate with them. Also, Adailton and Leandro, who joined this season, are players with exceptional quality, and it's very easy to play together. Moving forward, I want to further enhance our coordination."

(Towards the next home opener)
"The next match will be at home, but since the opponent is the champion team from last season, I think it will be a very difficult battle. It is important to play our soccer in any situation, and I want to put all my effort into seizing victory within that."

《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Coach Kenta HASEGAWA》
I would like to thank the many fans and supporters who rushed to Shimizu. I am very happy to be able to deliver a victory to all of you.
The players really did their best.
In the first half and at the start of the second half, the performance was not something to be praised, but I thought that Shimizu had a very strong desire for this match after losing to Kawasaki in the Levain Cup, so I somewhat anticipated that this kind of development would occur and watched it with that understanding. However, after conceding the first goal and struggling to switch on the attack, I believe the substitutes changed the flow of the game. Once the momentum shifted, they are truly powerful players, and I think the team was revitalized and was able to achieve a wonderful victory. The next match is against Yokohama FM, so I want to fight again to secure a victory at home.

(In the first half, the wind had an impact, and we struggled to gain momentum)
"Shimizu came in with an aggressive and attacking formation. We didn't intend to be on the defensive, but we couldn't switch on in the front line, resulting in few opportunities to regain possession. I think part of it is that we are still not accustomed to this system, and with the schedule of having played a night game just four days after the ACL match against Perth, the players may not have been fully switched on physically."
The pitch conditions were such that the ball was somewhat difficult to move on the sticky grass. Of course, I think there were various factors, including the fact that Shimizu played well. Regarding defense, the position for winning the ball was low, and afterwards, we faced the opponent's quick pressure, which gave the impression that our attack did not function well.

(Today, Tagawa is used in the three-top formation. Hotaka NAKAMURA is also used as a side back)
"I think Hotaka did a satisfactory job today. I believe he is actually more skilled on the right side, but he has been playing in various positions since camp. I think he will be able to do even more in the future. I hope to see further performance improvement from him next time.
Regarding the front line, there are still parts that do not function as a three-top, and I thought that Tagawa's condition is good and he will add some accent, so I decided to use him.

(Aim of using Adailton)
"I thought that using him was the best way to break the 0-1 situation."
It was a form that we considered as one of the options while competing in the league and ACL. By putting him in as a forward, we were able to create a powerful two-top that could serve as a starting point. As a result, we saw the effect of Leandro in the midfield becoming more open. Today, Adailton really changed the flow of the game. Arthur also fought hard in the midfield, and the players who came on as substitutes changed the flow of the team.

《Shimizu - Peter CKLAMOVSKI Coach Press Conference Summary》
"The result ended in a disappointing way, but when analyzing the performance, I think there were good moments. I believe the players also feel very sorry for not being able to deliver three points to the fans."

(The intention behind using Keita NAKAMURA as a defensive midfielder and how we want to utilize Makoto OKAZAKI in the future)
(I think both NAKAMURA and Nishimura performed well as defensive midfielders. They were able to stabilize the team effectively. OKAZAKI has also been training well, and I believe that his inclusion will strengthen our squad.)

(As for today's defeat, I feel that not being able to score the second goal and not being able to defend were both significant factors)
"We were thinking about going for the second goal. I believe we were on the verge of victory, but the opponent brought in substitutes, and those players changed the game in terms of quality. I think that was something Tokyo did well."
