[Player/Coach Comments]

"Player Tsuyoshi WATANABE"
"It was a difficult game during the self-restraint period. The atmosphere without spectators was unprecedented. The start of the game was not good. But I think it was a big achievement to get 3 points."

(Last season, I think I had a bitter experience at this stadium)
"Last season, I made my debut here in the Levain Cup and scored a goal, but I lost to player Orunga who took the goal. I wanted to return the favor in the same situation, or rather, I didn't let Orunga play freely. I feel like I'm growing little by little."

(After being beaten by Orunga in the first match, it's been a year. Today, I managed to hold back well)
"There were a few dangerous scenes today, but last season we conceded two goals and today we got zero. That was one of our goals. I felt confident when we held back, so I felt like I was growing."

(Looking back on the goal scene?)
"From Ogawa's corner kick, the ball curved in towards the far side, and I was preparing for the cross. When I looked at the far side, Morishige won the aerial battle with a high strike and put the ball inside. All I had to do was touch it."
I thought about calmly making a decision, and there were moments when it crossed my mind, but I was able to make a calm decision.
I was able to win with my own points by holding them firmly at zero. I feel a sense of accomplishment as a center back. I want to have more games like this."

"Adailton"
"The first half was a tough game, but I believed that if we kept going, we would have a chance. It was an aggressive game, but with the opponent's red card in the second half, I think we were able to secure the victory in the end."

(Side, FW and positions changed rapidly during the game, but were you able to play smoothly?)
"Especially at the start of the game, I played the role of pulling forward as much as possible."
Among them, Diego OLIVEIRA, Leandro, and right side player Higashi formed a good combination. I think we were able to play as a team, not just as FW, and cooperate in both offense and defense.

"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA"
"In the first half, both teams showed stiffness and the game was unsettled."
I was prepared for a tough match against Kashiwa. It was a game of who could take advantage and score the first goal. There were some dangerous moments in the first half, but it wasn't a bad start to go into halftime at 0-0. In the second half, we scored first from a set piece and then controlled the game. The players had various thoughts leading up to this match, but I think they can now settle down and approach future matches with confidence.
I would like to express my gratitude to the J-League staff. Although the number of infected people is still increasing in Tokyo, I would like to thank everyone involved in Tokyo for being able to reach this day by firmly adhering to self-restraint.

(What does this one win mean?)
"We were able to start with a victory, so it couldn't be better. We have a series of matches against strong teams, so we want to fight together with all players while monitoring their condition."

(What was the evaluation of Abe, who made his first start in the league match?)
"In the second half, he played as an attacking midfielder and his strengths came out a lot. In the first half, he couldn't show his strengths because the opponent was working hard and there was also some stiffness, but in the second half, he became more aggressive and it was good."

(The system has been rapidly changed, and even the placement of players has been flexibly changed. What strategies did you have going into the game?)
"Kashiwa is a team that is good at using vital areas."
I started thinking that maybe it would be better to change the shape a little. With Diego OLIVEIRA unable to play due to injury, what type of player would be good for the attacking midfielder position? I was a little too rushed today, so in the second half, when I put Keigo in as a defensive midfielder, the midfield connection improved.
Leandro and Adailton have also become able to play freely. However, the overall combination is still lacking. I think we need to improve our accuracy more."

"Kashiwa NELSINHO Manager"
"Although we suffered a loss in the result, it was the first game of the league restart after 90 days of self-restraint."
The players fulfilled their roles throughout the game. Although they were unable to convert their chances, they were able to create a few opportunities.
Unfortunately, we conceded a goal from a set piece, but our continued efforts were reflected in a positive performance.
There are still technical challenges such as not being able to make decisive plays. I think the sense of the game will improve as we continue to play. I want to prepare well for the next game."

(After one player was sent off, what was the intention behind the substitution of player Kamiya and his teammate?)
"Tactically, it was a situation where we were one player short, so we wanted to bring in a creative player to try and equalize and secure a draw. We put Tojima in the midfield and Kamiya and his teammate are both players who can run on both offense and defense. In particular, I instructed Kamiya to create opportunities in the attack."
Efficient ball feed from Esaka, Segawa, and teammates also created chances for Orunga.
"We changed tactics with that intention."
