[Player and Coach Comments]
Taichi HARA
"The time spent at a tie was long, and when I came on as a substitute, I entered with the mindset to aim for a goal."
(Reflecting on the moment of the goal)
"I always think it's a chance when Ogawa has the ball, so I made sure to take a good position as usual."
Adailton touched the ball a little in front, but he was able to control it well. I think that was everything.
(The feeling when I swung my right foot)
"I wasn't aiming for a specific course, but since I was able to pierce it over the GK, it was a satisfying goal."
(Today's goal was the Final Round point)
"This goal was different from the previous ones. A goal that leads to victory feels great. Of course, I believe it was not just my own effort, but also the support of my teammates that made it possible."
(Player Kimura made his first appearance in J1)
"I was a little worried myself, but he played confidently and won aerial battles. I think it was a wonderful performance."
(Tagawa also scored a goal. The competition is becoming intense)
"Without a doubt, there are powerful players in the front line, which is a great thing for the team. I want to strive together with such players and rise up together."
(Is the goal a result of daily practice, or is there a discovery in every match?)
I think it's half and half.
Since we cannot replicate everything in practice, we discover new things by playing matches like this. However, there are also patterns we have practiced, so I believe those technical aspects contributed to today's goals.
(Today's goal is)
"I think it is originally a skill in terms of feeling"
(Having played since the academy, scoring a goal to lead the team to victory must have been the moment I aimed for. In reality, when that situation arose, I felt a mix of emotions)
"I was happy when I scored, and I still feel happy now. However, since the matches continue, I have to switch my mindset. Still, it has always been a dream of mine, so I'm glad to experience this joyful feeling.
For the past two years, I have felt frustrated, so even though I was happy to see victories from the stands in every match, the feeling of regret for not being able to participate was stronger. In that sense, I am happy today.
《Kyosuke TAGAWA》
(Looking back at the goal scene)
"There were several moments when Takahagi had the ball and made runs behind the defense.
However, I received feedback from Takahagi that my movements were a bit too fast, so I was consciously playing with the intention of starting a little later to adjust my timing.
As I was told, after holding back a little on my own, a good ball came in at the right moment, and I was able to turn well, resulting in scoring a goal, so I really think it was great.
(I had talked about wanting to return and score, and it became the goal I declared)
"Other players are also scoring, so I have to keep fighting to not fall behind."
My condition is improving, so I want to push myself further for the team.
(It was a long-awaited return to play at Ajinomoto)
The number of fans and supporters was small, but it felt great to be able to play in front of everyone at home.
I felt even more compelled to do my best, and I am happy that I was able to score a goal.
《Seiji KIMURA》
(First appearance in J1, reflecting on today's match)
"I was nervous since yesterday, but just before the match, I was able to approach it with my usual mindset.
I think various people supported us, and we were able to start the match in a good way.
(What kind of preparations have you continued to make until today's match)
"During this series of matches, I haven't been able to get involved much.
Still, on a regular basis, Coach Nagasawa and Coach Sato, along with various staff members, provided support, and I believed we had made good preparations for the match, and that we just needed to showcase what we had built up.
(Parts that were effective throughout the 90 minutes and identified issues)
"In terms of defense, I was able to win headers, but I felt that I need to improve on the finer points of positioning and the judgment of when to apply pressure and when not to in the future."
I believe there are areas in the attacking part where we can improve, such as making vertical passes, so I want to reflect on this and carry it forward to the next match.
《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
It was a difficult situation, but they managed to come from behind and win.
In the final stages, there were several scoring opportunities, but we couldn't convert them, and in the end, Hara scored for us. Hayashi also prevented a dangerous situation where an opponent player was hit from Leandro DOMINGUES' cross. Kimura made his first start, and while those around him were anxious, it was rather they who had some dangerous plays. I'm glad Kimura played calmly and we were able to win.
(Despite having limited chances, we won with young forwards Haru and Tagawa)
"In the second half, we had many chances, but in the first half, the game did not go as we had hoped. Tagawa scored his first goal of the season, and it was significant that Haru showed his competitiveness in a difficult situation."
(Kimura had good plays with high balls and feeds)
"He entered the match very calmly. His physical ability is high, so if he gets used to the game, I think he will play more calmly and perform even better."
(Hara has been outstanding in scoring goals)
"Since scoring my first goal in the J-League, I have been able to enter matches with confidence and enthusiasm. I have a grasp on the timing of when to enter the goal area. I have high expectations for Hara as well."
《Yokohama FC - Takahiro SHIMOTAIRA Coach Press Conference Summary》
"First, we scored in a good way and took the lead, but after that, we were pushed back by Tokyo and conceded two goals."
We were pushed back by Tokyo's powerful and speedy attack. The defense held on, but it was unfortunate that we conceded a light goal. However, we managed to create chances until the end, almost securing a draw. We were able to hold our own against a strong Tokyo team. I want to continue building the team in this way.
(Although he said the conceded goals were light, the impact of injuries is)
"The center backs are in a tight situation. Inoha is also in a fatigued state, and Kobayashi is experiencing fatigue as well. I think the goals we conceded were light and a waste. There are many injured players among the full-backs, so we need to consider conversions as well."
