[Player and Coach Comments]
《Ryoma WATANABE》
(Looking back at the opening goal)
"A good cross came in from the left side, it was deflected by the goalkeeper, and then the ball came back from the left side again in that flow.
I was hoping to score the second one somehow, so I'm glad I was able to take the goal.
(What did you focus on during the second shooting scene?)
"I was on the outside, but I changed my positioning to move a bit more inside so that I could choose a course with a wider angle."
I was happy at the moment I scored, but more than that, my desire to win was stronger, so I quickly switched my focus to the next play.
(Taking the lead but being caught up and ending in a draw. Reflecting on the match)
"It was a match that I really wanted to win, and while I feel frustrated, we were able to achieve at least a minimum result away from home.
I think if we can win the next match, today's draw will have meaning, so I want to switch gears and prepare again.
(It has become a fierce competition for positions in the front line, but what kind of characteristics do we want to showcase?)
"The areas where we score goals and are involved in goals have always been competitive parts.
In that regard, I am conscious of receiving the ball at my feet and making sharp movements, and I talk to my teammates about it. I believe that if I can continue to deliver results in those areas, I will inevitably be able to take the position.
(First goal in J1. The next goal is)
"Since the J2 era, I have aimed for the numbers of 10 assists and 10 goals. I want to get as close to those numbers as possible."
(I think it's a play that excels in dribbling, but to further improve in the future)
"Today's goal was scored by pushing it in at the far side, but that means the opposite side was the starting point.
There were scenes where I took middle-range shots, but I couldn't score, so I want to increase the scenes where I can get involved with the goal.
《Sodai HASUKAWA》
"It was a frustrating match because we conceded a goal while not allowing the opponent to create almost any chances."
(What was necessary to score additional points)
"In the second half, we dropped a bit and there were more moments when we couldn't push forward with momentum.
In defense, I think we needed to clearly establish where to press and where not to, and unify our awareness.
In attack, there have been more balls played behind the center.
I think if we used more width, it would open up the middle, so it would have been good to move the ball towards the goal.
As an individual performance
I was able to showcase my strengths and gained confidence that I can compete.
I am just a DF. The fact that we conceded a goal at the end is everything today. In the matches I play, I want to be a player who can help the team win without conceding any goals, and I want to improve on that through daily training.
《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
I don't think getting 1 point away is a bad result, but since we took the lead, if we could have scored an additional goal to secure the win, it would have been an ideal outcome.
However, in a match where it was difficult to score additional points, I think it was quite possible to end up being caught up at the end, so I want to accept that and prepare for the next match.
What was the intention behind changing the system when Takahagi was brought in?
"I wanted to move the ball more."
Aoki was doing his best, but I wanted to bring in a player who could better assist with the build-up.
"We brought in Takahagi with the aim of moving the ball more and scoring additional points."
(Is there some uncertainty in the selection of the anchor person?)
"The answer is already out there."
The fact that Morishige was not used today in the consecutive matches and that Shinada is currently injured.
Aoki joined this season, and I don't think he has fully fit into the team yet, so I hope he continues to fit in while playing.
《Oita - Manager Tomohiro Katano's Press Conference Summary》
"First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to those who manage the turf at Showa Denko Dome Oita."
On March 6, a Rugby Top League match was held, but in our football, we place great importance on pitch conditions. Thanks to the wonderful pitch that was prepared, we were able to have a good game.
This is the second match at home since the opening game. Since we couldn't win in the opening match, we aimed to deliver a victory at home to our fans and supporters today.
Tokyo was indeed powerful, fast, and a strong opponent, but the players fought until the end without giving up. Their effort paid off, and we were able to earn 1 point. We want to carry this important point forward to the next match.
Tokyo has been in a series of matches, and we welcomed today's game after a week of preparation. In terms of content, there have been more moments that reflect our style and our objectives, and there are parts that are gradually improving with each match. We must continue to challenge ourselves to increase those moments in the future.
Next, there will be a match against C Osaka, who are currently on a winning streak, in two days. This also comes with a short preparation period, away game, and tough opponent, which are challenging conditions.
We all want to prepare and somehow bring home some points.
