[Player and Coach Comments]
《Takuya AOKI》
(It was a frustrating defeat, but reflecting on the match)
"Since I haven't had a full appearance since transferring, I personally wanted to win."
It was disappointing to concede goals mostly due to our own mistakes.
(What are your thoughts on fighting in the first Tamagawa Classico?)
"Battles between rival teams like this are filled with spirit.
That's why I wanted to win
(What role was given to Aoki by the coach?)
"I felt like I could connect from the back, and the coach mentioned to build the game from the left side."
(Do you think that task went well?)
"Overall, except for the beginning of the match, I think I was able to stay relatively calm.
That is why I regret that the team could have improved the way we entered the match a bit more.
(The part at the start of the match. What didn't go well?)
"Usually, we would attack by targeting the opponent's back, but today that didn't work out well, and we ended up losing the ball at our feet more often than not."
Adailton
"Overall, it was a difficult match, but after being pushed back in the first half, Tokyo was able to regroup in the second half."
"Just after scoring one goal back, we allowed a third goal, putting us in a tough situation, but I think there were also some good takeaways."
I think the scoring scene was a very passionate goal.
I don't clearly remember the goal scene, but from the right side, Nagai sent in a cross, and Diego OLIVEIRA created a distraction at the near post, allowing the ball to flow nicely to me.
I was just focused on calmly pouring it in.
I think being able to score my first goal in J1 this season is a positive thing for me personally.
(Towards the next match against Fukuoka)
"Away games are always difficult."
Still, I want to prepare well so that we can earn 3 points in the next match against Fukuoka.
《Tokyo - Summary of Coach Kenta HASEGAWA's Press Conference》
"With many supporters coming, I wanted to deliver a victory if possible. However, instead of being one-sided in a shootout, I believe the players' ability to firmly recover two goals shows their growth."
It is a significant achievement to have scored against Kawasaki while breaking through solidly.
However, the goals conceded were due to mistakes, and it was a shame that we made errors in the first 15 minutes when we knew the opponent would come at us from the front, resulting in the goals conceded.
If we could have avoided that time period, we might have been able to create a different outcome. However, I believe that is the difference between us and Kawasaki, so I want to sincerely accept this loss and make sure to connect what we did and what we couldn't do to the next opportunity.
(The intention of starting with 4-4-2)
"There was a defensive aim, but rather, the intention was to take the initiative in attack. I thought we didn't have enough strength to compete head-on, so I started with 4-4-2."
(There are parts where the aim was off)
"I thought that if we didn't move the ball properly against Kawasaki, we wouldn't be able to create our own time. Rather, I was approaching the players on whether we could move the ball after winning it back.
What went wrong was that we were a bit too cautious from the start. I think we could have used simpler balls to turn the opponent over at the beginning, but that's a judgment made by the players who are actually feeling the game. I think we often tried to connect by moving the ball. I feel that we were exploited in that area.
(Halftime instructions)
"The content itself wasn't bad, so I mentioned that if we could score one goal, the flow would change."
While continuing like this, we talked about how to increase Adailton's pressure to score a goal first.
《Kawasaki - Toru ONIKI Coach Press Conference Summary》
"They played with a strong spirit from the start of the game."
I always say that we aim to score at least 3 goals, and I appreciate that we pursued that. It became quite a tough game, but I have the impression that we fought hard until the end, giving it our all.
(About winning the Tamagawa Classico)
"I am simply happy that we were able to win in an area that both the players and I are particular about."
(The three players in the front line scored)
"We are always aiming for goals. Goals don't come easily, but I felt their attitude of not missing chances, and we talked about pushing towards the goal no matter what, and they always aimed for it. All three scored wonderful goals. I'm very happy."
