[Player and Coach Comments]
Bruno UVINI
(How adjustments have been made up to this point)
"It was difficult to understand the characteristics of my teammates and the way the team plays in about a week after joining. However, I am happy for this opportunity.
I also believe that being able to play for 90 minutes is thanks to everyone.
I wanted to win, but I think getting 1 point away is not a bad result.
(It was unfortunate to concede a goal, but how do you feel about your own goal?)
"I believe that conceding a goal is not anyone's fault, but everyone's responsibility, and conversely, I didn't score the goal all by myself. We discussed aiming for that during the set piece together.
More than anything, I am really happy to be able to play in the match today.
(How did you feel about the level of the J-League)
"I played my first match, but I had been watching the J-League closely before and after coming to Japan.
I think that even on television, playing in the J-League is of a very high level. I believe that all teams have balanced abilities.
Tokushima is also a good team and not an easy opponent to beat. Today ended in a draw, and I believe that no match can be won easily.
(About scoring a goal in my debut match)
"I am happy to have scored a goal, but I would have been even happier if the team could have won."
As a defender, I wasn't really in a position to score goals, but I was happy to have fought well in this match, and I was truly grateful for the support from my teammates and everyone involved up to this point. I want to thank God.
(What kind of conversations were held after the match)
"I talked with the Brazilian players, and it was a tough match with various events. We encouraged each other. In the locker room, I expressed my gratitude to everyone.
There were difficult times to get here, but I truly feel grateful to be able to reach this moment now.
《Manato SHINADA》
"My body felt quite heavy, and there were tough parts, but regarding my condition, it felt close to my first match, so I knew even before the game that I still had a long way to go."
Still, it was good to be able to play for a long time, and I could feel the changes in myself compared to last season, so I want to take that positively.
(It felt difficult until a full return)
"There were new players and Brazilian players, and there were indeed parts where we couldn't quite unify our intentions.
I want to share our ideas while talking properly during practice from now on.
(Difference from the ideal play)
"With the recovery from my ankle injury, the quality of my long balls has significantly improved, allowing me to look further ahead with the ball, which I think is a major factor."
I think Tokyo is a team characterized by fast vertical attacks, so I want to develop a style of football where I can deliver high-quality balls and the attacking players can keep making moves.
(Towards the next)
"I don't think I am a player with that much ability yet, as I didn't play in many matches last season. So, I want to start by doing what I can, one step at a time, and gradually become a strength for the team."
I want to do my part so that the team can get back on track towards the championship.
《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
"In the first half, we let the opponent take control and conceded the opening goal. Recently, many games have had similar developments, and today it became a very difficult situation as well."
However, in the second half, we were able to fight very aggressively and score a goal. After that, there were both chances and dangers, but I believe that ending in a draw allowed us to take a half step forward towards advancing in the group stage. We want to continue fighting together in the remaining two matches to secure our advancement in the qualifiers.
(Regarding the performance of Bruno UVINI, Manato SHINADA, and Leon NOZAWA)
"Manato had not played in a while. At first, he struggled to get into the rhythm of the match, but I believe he gradually regained his rhythm.
It was uncertain how long Bruno would hold on, but he adjusted over time and scored the equalizing goal, which I believe greatly contributed to the team.
Although the time was short, Zero-on expressed what needed to be done for the team, so I believe all three players played for the points.
(In the end, we changed the system to increase the number of defenders, but the aim was)
"Since Yoshifumi had just returned from injury, there were many uncertainties, and considering Tokushima's style of play, we fought in the end with the mindset that a draw was acceptable."
《Tokushima - Daniel POYATOS, Coach》
I am really satisfied that the team has shown their strength.
They played at a good level and showed wonderful behavior while maintaining possession. I am proud of everyone.
(The three midfielders were effectively positioning themselves, and passes that inflicted damage on the opponent were successful. Was that the intention?)
"That was indeed the intention."
After consulting with the staff, we decided where we could attack to inflict damage.
Although it was a short time, we were able to prepare well and play well.
(League) In the last match against Kashiwa, we couldn't show good play, but I feel it's important to train diligently every day.
