[Player/Coach Comments]

"Kensuke NAGAI Player"
(How are you taking the defeat with 3 goals conceded?)
"We had to score and win. Now that we have a clear goal, I will take it positively and do my best."

(The match was approached with a change in the system, but the feeling during the match)
"There was a lack of communication in the part where we conceded, but there was some sense of accomplishment in our attack, and we also have three days to prepare, so we want to adjust properly."

(It is important to create many chances)
"The opponent's GK is a good player, but as an attacking unit and as a team, we have to overcome that. We want to fight with confidence."

"Adailton"
"It was a very tough game."
Despite being scored on first and having additional points taken away, we were able to come back and score one point in the end.
"We want to fight with all our might in the second home game so that this one point will lead to the next one."

(Looking back at the goal scene)
"I received a good pass from player East between the center back and side back, and was able to break through there myself. In the end, I think I was able to calmly score while watching the opponent GK."

(For the second game)
"We must win the next game by a margin of at least two points."
"We need to score points and prepare well again in three days, so that we can turn the game around at home."

"Keigo Higashi"
(Substituted in during the match)
"After the Urawa match, I had some physical issues so I skipped the previous match against Kawasaki and prepared for today."

(It was a 3-back system, but were you prepared?)
"We didn't have much time since the Kawasaki game and we had a lot of injured players, so today's game was played in this formation."

(The match itself was close, but there was a difference between us and the opponent in terms of skin gap)
"There were mistakes in conceding goals, and Nagoya was able to take advantage of them. Massimo, who was also my coach in Tokyo, used to play like that, taking advantage of those mistakes and fighting."
A two-point difference is significant, but we will continue to do our best without giving up.

(A victory of 2-0 is necessary, but enthusiasm for the second game)
"I don't think it's that easy, and it's really difficult to score two goals and win. However, the second game is at home, and we have always turned things around and advanced to victory together without giving up, so we have a good image. It's been three days, but I want to face it with the whole team and make good preparations."

"Tokyo - Manager Masaru HASEGAWA Press Conference Summary"
"We conceded too many goals unnecessarily."
However, we were able to score one away goal, so we were able to return home with our skin intact.
"We want to prepare well so that we can make it to the final by turning the tables at home."

(The first goal was a result of player Hasagawa's first starting appearance in a while, but how did you see it?)
"I think it was a wasted goal."
I think there was tension, but I think Soumei did a great job.

(How will we play the second game?)
"We were able to take away goals first."
However, we have to win by 2-0 or more next time, so the situation is still tough, but I think it's a score that still has potential. We want to prepare to come back at home and advance to the final."

(Changed the DF line a little, but the aim is)
"In a situation where there are no pure SBs. Among the players who can currently fight, I chose based on how to maximize their potential."

(What was the intention of having Adailton, who came on as a substitute, play on the front line instead of on the side?)
"I told him to go out and score a goal."

"Nagoya - Massimo FICCADENTI Press Conference Summary"
"I think we were able to play exactly as we imagined."
We were able to play the game as we had imagined and planned. It was a battle between two teams with well-organized tactics, and there were times in the first half where we cancelled each other's spaces. However, the opponent's DF responded appropriately to our attacks according to their numbers.
The score moved, but I think it was more a result of both teams clashing with what they had prepared rather than a big change in the flow of the game. In the second half, we struggled due to not being able to keep up with the opponent's response on the left side, but we managed to hold on and score an additional point. There was an unexpected goal against us, which could have ruined everything, but we were able to recover in the end and somehow pull through. That's the impression I have."

(Continued to attack until the end, but how did you instruct?)
"Changing to a 3-man defense in the middle of the game was not about defending or holding on in the back, but rather about thinking about how we can break through when attacking and making a judgment."
It was judged that it would be difficult to remove Tokyo's top two with two CBs, so it was changed to three. I think the players understood and played while thinking about it as they were told.

(Win by taking advantage of few chances. Regarding finishing ability)
"In the few chances we had, Kakitani created some close opportunities in the second half. Tokyo also had chances with Adailton's goal and Langerak's big save."
I think the result is that the opponent scored half of the chances, while we scored 3 out of 4. It's really important that we were able to concentrate well on our chances.

(How to fight in the second game based on today's results)
"In the home and away regulations, it is not strange for any result to occur in the second game."
The second match, which we will approach after winning the first match as we did in the quarterfinals against Kashima, is the condition for advancing to the next round if we win.
I want to focus on winning in 90 minutes and finishing the game. I want to aim for the same flow as the previous Kashima game.
