[Player and Coach Comments]

《Ryoma WATANABE》
(Although I played in a different position than usual in both matches, what were you conscious of?)
"I was conscious of playing in a way that wouldn't diminish my strengths."
The part that makes me anxious is the opponent's long balls, and I fought with a clear analysis of this, keeping in mind when to drop back and other strategies.

(He was working hard on both offense and defense, but the feeling was)
"Since Adailton was in front of me, I was thinking about how much I could utilize his dribbling."
You can use it when I overlap. I thought it was fine either way. The most important thing was to consider how to make the most of his characteristics.

(Regarding the first short corner)
"I thought the short corner might be something the opponent dislikes."
There was no marker on Takahagi, and it seemed like they weren't on guard, so I decided to challenge. Since it was the second attempt, I thought I would give it a try. In the end, I'm glad it led to a goal.

(How to leverage today's battle for the future)
"There are still 6 matches left, and I don't know which position I will play, but if we use today's hard work as a standard, I don't think we will lose to any opponent.
In terms of being particular about the results, today was a situation where we had to score points, but I believe that if we always fight with this mentality, our ranking will naturally improve, and I hope we can base Tokyo's football on this kind of battle.

(There were only a few scenes of conceding goals in the second half)
"I knew that with so many injured players, the forwards would get tired and we would be pushed back."
Since Tsuyoshi WATANABE was substituted due to injury, there has been a change in the coordination of the defense, and I felt that conceding a goal due to a momentary lapse is still a part we need to improve. As a DF, I experienced a different feeling than before, and I want to carry that forward to the next match.

(Is it your first time playing as a fullback?)
"It was my first time, but it's still soccer. I believe that if I can leverage my strength of maintaining a high average in my play, I can perform well in any position. I was able to showcase that strength."

(I played with dynamism, but with what feelings did I play?)
"With a single-minded desire to win, and with the feeling of playing for the team in any position, I have to accept the result that we couldn't win. I want to become a player who can fight even more for the team."

《Yojiro TAKAHAGI》
(Reflecting on the total result of 3-4 over 2 matches)
"After all, I think the 3 goals conceded in the first match were painful."

(What kind of fighting style will we have today?)
"Instead of changing something, we entered the match with a plan to achieve a 2-0 score by fighting in our usual way."

(It was a goal from a set piece, but was it as planned?)
"It wasn't something we had decided beforehand; it was a judgment made by the two of us based on the situation that led to the goal. I didn't expect Ryoma WATANABE to take a short corner."

(Reflecting on the second goal)
"Since Diego OLIVEIRA connected the ball from the back and brought it to the goal area, I had time to touch the ball once and then re-enter the goal area.
Since Diego OLIVEIRA and Teixeira took the shots and got blocked, I ended up scoring the goal, but I think it was good that I was able to carry the ball properly from behind.

(I think it was difficult to play after it became 2-0, but I believe we could have done more)
"I think we were united in what we needed to do as a team, and I believe we could have gone for another goal and defended from the front, so it's unfortunate that we conceded, but I believe we did what we needed to do."

(Although they did not advance to the Final Round, it was a battle with a sense of achievement)
"I realized that it is important to continue having matches like this in the league."

《Shuto ABE》
(Reflecting on this tournament)
"A tournament aimed at consecutive victories.
It is truly frustrating that we advanced solidly from the qualifiers to the Semifinal Round, only to be eliminated just one step away from the Final Round.
I feel disappointed in myself, and it's frustrating that the team couldn't reach the Final Round, but we must take a step forward from this defeat.
Indeed, the last third goal conceded in the first away match is truly regrettable.
As a result, we ended up crying over a single point, but it truly became a tournament where we felt the weight of that one point.

(Last 6 matches of the league, what kind of appearance do you want to show to the fans and supporters)
"Today, even though it was in the form of applause at home, the wonderful support and cheering really helped us.
Although we could not advance to the Final Round, we must switch gears and continue to fight in the league matches ahead.
I want to finish the season by moving up at least one rank from now.

《Tokyo - Summary of the Press Conference with Director Kenta HASEGAWA》
"I'm really frustrated."
At one point, the score was 2-0, and I think it will come down to how we fight in the last 20 minutes.
There was a consideration to switch to a three-back formation, as simulated before the match, but the game did not develop to that extent. As time passed, if we conceded a goal, we would have to push for a third goal, so we were observing the situation, but we ended up conceding a goal.
I truly feel frustrated myself, and I want to think about whether there was something else I could have done while watching the game unfold again.
I truly appreciate all the fans and supporters for cheering us on until the very end.
I feel that way, and I apologize as a coach for not being able to meet those expectations. However, the players really fought well.
I believe that their feelings and play reached us despite the many injuries.
I hope that Nagoya, who won, will fight together for us and definitely win the championship.

(The intention of using Ryoma WATANABE as the left side back)
was that playing as a wing-back in the first match was a setup for the second match.
If we find ourselves in a situation where we must win the second match, I had considered using Ryo-ma as a fullback before the Semifinal Round.
After watching the performance of the wing-back in the first match, I thought he could definitely play as a left back, so I decided to use him.
Of course, it was somewhat different from playing as a wing-back, so I did some basic training, but I couldn't convey everything. I really think that players around me, like Morishige, supported me well and did a great job.
He was delivering good crosses, and in the one-on-one with Naoki YAMADA, he hardly let him do any work. I think that's the achievement of today, and I believe he played very well.

(When reflecting on the total of 2 matches, where do you think the turning point is?)
I think it was the third goal conceded in the first match.
Right after we scored a point, we conceded a goal during stoppage time, so I think that affected us until the end. With Adailton's goal in the first match, we could have brought this game to a favorable situation at 2-0, so I believe the third goal we conceded was painful.

(What kind of words did you say to the players after the match)
"This time we couldn't make it to the Final Round, but I think there was growth for both the team and the individuals."
I believe that the part where we fought with our feelings has definitely been conveyed to the fans and supporters, and playing games like this will lead to further growth, so I told the players, 'We lost today, but let's show our soccer in the last six league matches.'

《Nagoya - Massimo FICCADENTI Coach Press Conference Summary》
The first match was, in a sense, an emotional game, and this second match was also incredibly moving, incorporating elements of fighting for 90 minutes and 180 minutes.
It was a game filled with various emotions at different times. The reason we were able to have such a match is that Tokyo was indeed a wonderful team. First of all, I would like to commend our opponents.
The flow of the match was very open from the start. Both teams aimed to score the first goal, and there were moments when the match dynamics changed as they sought to score a second goal, so I believed that who scored would have a strong psychological impact.
Since the second match started under such circumstances, I think both teams actively tried to score. Unfortunately, they conceded a goal in that situation, and although they wanted to change the flow with substitutions in the second half, they ended up conceding another goal.
After that, the opponent started to defend, so Igor GABRIEL was brought in. From there, the players' strong determination was reflected in their play, resulting in a goal. I want to tell the players that they accomplished something amazing.

(Inagaki showed his presence in both offense and defense)
"I believe that his strong desire to contribute to the team is what connects him to every scene. Even if you have that feeling, it means nothing if it doesn't reflect in your play."
"He expresses that by running for the team, so he is truly a reliable player."
