2016 Season First Match, Challenge the Battle with a Fresh Lineup!

A cold wave that is hitting all over Japan has also reached here in Okinawa, with a temperature of 9 degrees at the Kunigami Athletics Stadium.
In the first match of the 2016 season against FC Ryukyu, Wai, Yukino, Tanabe, and others started.
And new addition Mizunuma made his Tokyo debut.

The match started with Ryukyu's kickoff.
2 minutes: Tokyo debutant Mizunuma runs up the right side and sends in his first cross, but it is caught directly by Ryukyu GK Imakono.
13 minutes: Tanabe enters the left side of the area quickly after the restart. He takes a shot near the touchline, but the opposing DF blocks it. Tokyo gets a corner kick.
17 minutes: Mizunuma starts a counterattack on the left side. A cross is sent to Sandaza in the area, but his left-footed shot is blocked by the opposing defender.
27 minutes: Ryukyu - Another FK scene. MF Tanabe's FK, aimed at the top left of the goal with his left foot, was saved by Wei's right hand with a fine save!
29 minutes: Sandaza on the right side aims for Tanabe on the far side with a cross. Tanabe in the area neatly traps the ball at his feet, but is unable to take a shot.
39 minutes: Mizunuma reacted to Tanabe's sharp through pass and broke through the left side. He tried to dribble into the area himself, but couldn't break through.

Sandaza picked up a loose ball inside the penalty area and took a shot, but the opposing GK Imakono caught it. The first half ended with both teams scoreless.

Despite a fierce battle towards the end, the match ended in a scoreless draw, earning 1 point.

The second half started with Tokyo's kickoff. Maruyama, Kono, Hiraoka, and Abe were substituted in.

52 minutes: Cross from the left side by Kono. Hashimoto in front of the goal misses the header. At 72 minutes, Tokyo changes formation to 4-4-2. Kono and Abe form a two-top.
79 minutes: Abe, who broke through on Kono's pass, was fouled on the left side of the area and a penalty was awarded! The kicker is Abe! However, Abe shoots low and center, but Ryukyu GK Konno stays in the middle and makes the save.
90+1 minutes: Ryukyu Central dribbles up and MF Tomigashi shoots from just outside the area. The ball hits the left post.
90+2 minutes: Ryukyu DF Hamada advances from the left and passes to MF Tomigashi, who dribbles past one defender and takes a shot. The keeper deflects it in front of the goal.

Despite a fierce battle towards the end, both teams were unable to score a point and the game ended in a scoreless draw. They each earned one point.
