Our club's player Daiki NIWA has been continuing his activities such as donating soccer balls to children in the disaster-stricken areas and planting grass on the playground of a kindergarten in Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture in November last year, in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in 2011. This time, we have decided to implement the "Niwa Grass Project" at Yano Kindergarten in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. On the day, we plan to hold a soccer class, a grass planting ceremony, and a lunch party with the children.

【Daiki NIWA Player Comment】
"I am happy to be able to hold the Niwa Shibata Project (NSP) in Hiroshima this year. When the disaster happened in Hiroshima last year, I thought about what I could do and I wanted to implement NSP in Hiroshima."
The location will be held at Yano Kindergarten, the alma mater of the Morisaki brothers.
We hope that the people of Hiroshima Prefecture can recover as soon as possible.
Let's meet everyone at Yano Kindergarten with a smile!!"
About the "Niwa Shiba Project"
[Overview]
We will carry out activities to convert the soil grounds of kindergartens, elementary schools, and junior high schools that have been damaged by disasters into lawns.
【Purpose】
① "For the future children"
We want to create an environment where children can play and grow outside, experience the greatness of sports, and develop as human beings through various sports.
② "Improvement of Safety"
Falling during activities such as running and playing on the grass becomes less likely to result in injury due to the grass acting as a cushion, making children more likely to enjoy playing outside.
③ "Improved Comfort"
The rise in temperature during the summer is suppressed, allowing for comfortable outdoor play even in the summer.
④ "Children's energy brings energy to the whole family."
I hope that even those who have been affected by disasters can regain their smiles and that children will become energetic and bring back smiles to the whole family.
【Target】
Kindergartens, elementary schools, and junior high schools in areas affected by disasters
