[Report] FC Tokyo Players' Association Visits Children's Hospital Online

The FC Tokyo Players Association visited children hospitalized at the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Medical Center (Fuchu City) online on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Ryo-kun (10 years old), who is hospitalized in the same hospital, and three players, Naohiro ISHIKAWA, the club communicator, deepened their interaction through online conversations and the players' practical performances.

□Participants
Masato MORISHIGE, Kensuke NAGAI, Kashif BANGNAGANDE, a total of 3 players
Naohiro ISHIKAWA, the club communicator, will also participate.

◇Masato MORISHIGE's Comment

Last year, we actually visited the hospital, and everyone's smiles were impressive. I really wanted to visit the hospital again this year, but since we can't visit now, being able to do it using a video conferencing system was a new discovery, and I was happy that we could implement it.
This time, I felt that communication could be smoother than I expected during the remote visit. I thought it might be good to increase the frequency if the timing is right.
I would like to continue such activities going forward.

◇Comment from Kensuke NAGAI

I want to continue these activities in the future. I also genuinely want to show more of my efforts on the pitch.
I hope to interact with more children through this activity. I would like to continue visiting hospitals in the future.

◇Kashif BANGNAGANDE Comment

Last year, I watched the Tokyo players visit on television, and this year I will be participating, which made me realize once again that I have become a professional football player.
I think it's really tough that my younger brother, who is close in age to Ryo-kun, is playing outside and I can't do that. I want to work harder from now on so that I can give energy to those kids through my play.

Thank you very much to all the hospital staff who cooperated with this activity.
