In response to this, a total of 49 top team coaches, staff, and players underwent a club-specific PCR test on the 22nd (Sun), and we would like to inform you that all except for Staff A were confirmed negative on the same day. ※The on-site inspection was not conducted in accordance with the J-League's new coronavirus infection control guidelines, as the results were confirmed after 3.5 hours before kick-off. In addition, based on the same guidelines, it was determined that there were no close contacts, and the match will be held as scheduled after confirmation by the J-League.

In addition, for the 2021 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 26 Vegalta Sendai match (kickoff at 19:00 on Wednesday, August 25th at Yurtec Stadium Sendai), a "J-League On-Site COVID-19 Testing" will be conducted 3 hours before kickoff on the day of the match. In addition to the previously established entry requirements, only players and staff who have tested negative on the on-site test will be allowed to enter the match on the day.
