□Reason for Disqualification (From J.League Disciplinary Committee)
On September 22, 2021 (Wednesday), in the 32nd round of the 2021 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League (FC Tokyo vs Nagoya Grampus) match, Leandro was ordered to leave the field by the referee.
(Public Corporation) Based on the disciplinary criteria in the Japan Football Association's competitions and tournaments, it has been determined that the act of hitting the opponent's face with excessive force using the right arm during a competition is an extremely dangerous act that could threaten the opponent's player life. Therefore, it is deemed to fall under Article 2-2, "Assault, Threats, and Provocation against Players and the General Public," and the player will be suspended for 2 matches.
In addition, regarding the same player, in the match between FC Tokyo and Sagan Tosu on August 1, 2020 in the 8th round of the 2020 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League, there was a play where he used his hand or elbow near the opponent player's face, and he received a severe warning from the committee. Furthermore, in the 21st round on October 10, 2020 between FC Tokyo and Gamba Osaka, there was an extremely malicious and dangerous act where he intentionally punched the opponent player's face while running alongside them, and as a result, he received a 3-game suspension and a fine of 300,000 yen from the committee. However, as this player has repeated the same type of violation as last year, it is considered to be in violation of Article 11 of the Japan Football Association's disciplinary regulations [aggravation of violations], and it has been decided to impose a 1-game suspension and the above-mentioned 3-game suspension and fine of 300,000 yen.
