On Nov 9 (Tue), 16 (Tue), and 17 (Wed) 2021, the FC Tokyo Players' Association conducted elementary school visits.
This is the 14th visit to elementary schools by the FC Tokyo players' association, and due to the impact of the new coronavirus, it was conducted online for the second year in a row.
Through the screen, we were able to have a fun interaction with the children in our hometown.
□Takuya UCHIDA (FC Tokyo Player Chairman) Comment
"We wanted to make a positive impact on the elementary school students in our hometown who always support us, and give them strength. That's why we carried out school visits this year as well. We were worried if we could convey our message properly through online communication, but we were able to have a solid conversation, which put our minds at ease. Even though we couldn't physically visit schools and interact with the children due to the pandemic, I believe we were able to convey our message just by talking. It was really great that we were able to carry out these visits with the help of everyone around us. Through talking with the local elementary school students, we felt that we need to work even harder than before, and we were reminded that we have to show them the image of a "professional soccer player" that we had when we were in elementary school."
