The FC Tokyo volleyball team will suspend its activities as a team at the end of May 2022.
This team started its activities in 2003, originating from the Tokyo Gas Volleyball Club.
So far, we have participated in major tournaments such as the V1 League, winning the National Sports Festival twice, finishing as runners-up in the Emperor's Cup once, and being runners-up in the Black Eagle Flag once, establishing ourselves as a top team in Japanese men's volleyball.
However, after a comprehensive review of changes in the surrounding business environment, the potential for medium- to long-term business growth, and the response to the commercialization and enhancement plans for the future of the V League, we have decided to suspend our activities.
In addition, activities to promote such as volleyball classes will also be suspended.

The volleyball team, like soccer, has received tremendous support from everyone, allowing us to be promoted to Japan's top league. We sincerely thank everyone who has provided us with such great support so far.

FC Tokyo will continue to contribute to the development of the local community through soccer.
