Former Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara passed away on February 1, 2022 (Tuesday). Our thoughts and prayers are with him.

Mr. Shintaro Ishihara has been involved with FC Tokyo in various ways, such as giving a speech at the opening ceremony of Tokyo Stadium in 2001 and making a courtesy visit during the 2006 FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi's trip to Germany (winning the Berlin Youth Soccer Tournament).
