Former Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara passed away on February 1, 2022 (Tuesday). We sincerely pray for his soul.

Shintaro Ishihara has been involved with FC Tokyo in various ways, such as his greeting at the opening ceremony of Tokyo Stadium in 2001 and during the courtesy visit for FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi's trip to Germany in 2006 (winning the Berlin Youth Soccer Tournament).
