Announcement of positive COVID-19 test results for 3 top team players

We would like to inform you that three top team players (hereinafter referred to as Player A, B, and C) have tested positive for COVID-19. Player A underwent a PCR test on February 16 (Wednesday) and received a positive result on the same day. Following this, the club conducted its own PCR tests for all top team personnel on the same day, resulting in Players B and C also testing positive. All three players are currently receiving appropriate care and treatment.
Furthermore, based on the J-League's guidelines for activities and behavior history related to the novel coronavirus infection, there are no close contacts for this matter.

Today, only players and staff who have undergone the club's unique antigen testing and confirmed negative will participate in team activities. The club will further strengthen the measures taken against the novel coronavirus infection and will once again ensure that all players, staff, and related parties are fully aware of and adhere to the infection prevention measures.
