Thank you for always supporting FC Tokyo with warm cheers.
As announced by the J-League on May 17th (Tuesday), in order to further enhance the experience of watching sports with COVID-19, we have decided to gradually introduce "voice cheering areas/voice cheering seats" at each J-League match while implementing effective measures against infection.

Definition of Vocal Support
In the spectator seats, repeatedly and continuously making loud noises than usual
※Temporary cheers such as when scoring do not count
We plan to gradually introduce it under the following conditions.
・One corner of the viewing seats for the target match is designated as a "voice cheering area" with wide seat spacing (※checkerboard seating with front, back, left, and right spaces), and only visitors who have purchased seats (voice cheering seats) in the designated area are allowed to cheer with a non-woven fabric mask worn.
- Cheering with voices is still prohibited in matches that are not designated for voice cheering or in areas that are not designated for voice cheering.
・"Cheering area" is the only area where you can cheer out loud. You can watch the game as usual in other areas.
・The cheering area will be a dedicated area for "cheering out loud" for the time being, and eating food or drinking alcohol will be prohibited, and must be done outside of the area (except for water replenishment, excluding alcoholic beverages).
・Following the government's basic policy, the maximum number of visitors will be limited to 50% of the stadium's total capacity
Regarding the introduction, it will be decided at the club level, so in considering the merits of gradual introduction, we would appreciate your opinions on introducing vocal support in the seat type you have purchased or in a different seat type at SOCIO.
Since the spread of the new coronavirus infection in 2020, we have prioritized holding matches safely and securely, and have limited the style of support such as cheering with voice from the perspective of infection prevention. As research on infection risks progresses both domestically and internationally, we have gradually reviewed the guidelines and have reached a situation where we can hold matches without causing group infections from the stadium, thanks to the understanding and cooperation of fans and supporters, and those who come to the stadium. We sincerely thank you for this in 2022.
As the next step, we aim to create an environment where we can achieve both the recovery of the soccer support culture and the passion and unity through sports while ensuring safe and secure operation. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
