【Report】FC Tokyo Players' Elementary School Visit

On Jun 6 (Mon), 14 (Tue), 15 (Wed), and 16 (Thu) in 2022, the FC Tokyo Players' Association conducted elementary school visits.
This year marks the 15th time we have continued to implement elementary school visits since 2008.

This year, due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, the event was held online. We visited a total of 9 elementary schools in Fuchu City, Mitaka City, Chofu City, Kodaira City, Nishitokyo City, Koganei City, as well as for the first time as a club, Suginami Ward, Setagaya Ward, and Shibuya Ward.

Although we were unable to have direct interaction on site, it was a fun time of exchange with overflowing smiles from each school.
In addition, Manato SHINADA visited Setagaya Ward Matsuoka Elementary School, his alma mater, and sent words of encouragement to the children who will become his juniors.

□Manato SHINADA (FC Tokyo Player Chairman) Comments

"In addition to the 6 elementary schools in 6 cities that have been providing us with great support every year, we also conducted online elementary school visits organized by the players' association at elementary schools in Shibuya, Setagaya, Suginami, and other new areas. We hoped that even if it was just a little, the children would learn something that would be useful in their future lives from us players, but in return, we were able to receive energy from the children's brightness and pure, shining figures."
We deeply appreciate everyone who made efforts for this elementary school visit. Through these activities, we will continue to strive to make FC Tokyo known to many people.
And, I hope I can interact directly with the children on my next visit! Thank you for your continued support and encouragement for FC Tokyo.

□Hirotaka MITA Player Comment
※Online visit to his alma mater, Setagaya Ward Matsuoka Elementary School

"I love my hometown Setagaya Ward, and this time I had the opportunity to teach online classes at my local elementary school, Matsuo Elementary School, which is also my alma mater. I really enjoyed it myself."
In Setagaya Ward, there may be people who don't know much about FC Tokyo and there are also many children who have never been to the stadium, so I would be happy if this visit could spark their interest in FC Tokyo and they could come to the stadium.
