'The 37th Real Sociedad U-17 International Tournament' On the third day, based on the points and match combinations so far, FC Tokyo U-18 will play against the U-17 team of the world-renowned big club, Real Madrid.
The venue for the match is a natural grass field located at a high position within Real Sociedad's facility "Zubieta", with spectator stands and locker rooms, creating an atmosphere that exudes history.
After finishing the warm-up, both teams gathered for a group photo and kicked off at 10:00. We will use the experiences we gained during this trip in our final match of the expedition.
Madrid will launch an organized attacking strategy against Celta and Sociedad, who they have faced in this tournament. FC Tokyo U-18 will apply pressure from a high position in defense and look for scoring opportunities by avoiding the opponent's press and connecting the ball from a low position in attack, depending on the situation.
Despite defending with their bodies against the opponent's chances, they conceded a goal by being caught off guard near the goal, ending the first half 0-1. In the second half, they continued to challenge for a direct victory and aim for a goal, but due to the opponent's high scoring ability, it became 0-2. After that, they pressed aggressively from the front line, causing the opponent to make mistakes, and Kio TANAKA scored a goal to make it 1-2. They continued to create multiple chances, but conceded another goal, ending the game 1-3.
We ended the tournament in 5th place, losing 3-4 in the final PK shootout.
The final match where we challenged without hesitation against the world's top-class powerhouse. Each player's strengths and weaknesses were clearly shown, and it was a game where we gained many rewards.
After the match, I watched the U-17 Final Round between Real Sociedad and Mohammed VI Football Academy, and witnessed Real Sociedad's victory.
After the match, the closing ceremony was also attended by many spectators, and the Real Sociedad top team, led by coach Imanol, and players also participated, ending the tournament in a warm atmosphere.
