[Announcement from Tokyo] Let's strive for "heat stroke prevention" this summer with severe lingering heat!

FC Tokyo signed a comprehensive partnership agreement, the "Wide Collaboration Agreement," with Tokyo Metropolis, its hometown, in March 2023, and is cooperating in various fields to further develop the capital Tokyo and improve services for its citizens.

□Notice from Tokyo
This summer, the average temperature in Tokyo reached a record high in July, resulting in an unprecedented heatwave. Further measures to prevent heatstroke are necessary even after August. The risk of heatstroke increases during sports activities and events, both indoors and outdoors. Therefore, it is important to manage your health regularly, stay hydrated and replenish salts when going out, and to check the "Heat Index (WBGT)" using weather forecast apps (measurements with devices are also effective) while taking preventive actions.
In Tokyo, we provide easy-to-understand information on the "Heat Stroke Alert Status" and "Heat Index" in the city, basic knowledge for preventing heat stroke, and TOKYO Cool Share on the "Heat Stroke Prevention Portal Site."

Currently, we are actively seeking practical examples that elderly people and children can easily engage in within their homes and communities as part of "Heat Stroke Prevention: Wisdom for Daily Life." We look forward to your submissions (until the end of September). Selected examples will be shared on the portal site as they come in. Please take a look.
