□Yuto Horigome Player Profile
Born on January 7, 1999, from Tokyo.
Influenced by his father, who was a skater, he started skateboarding at the age of 6 and consistently ranked high in domestic competitions from the beginning of his teenage years. He had extensive overseas experience, but after graduating from high school, he made a serious move to the United States, achieving the remarkable feat of qualifying for the Street League, the world's top skateboarding competition, in 2017. From his first participation, he quickly made it to the podium multiple times. In 2018, he achieved his first victory and rapidly rose to become one of the world's top athletes. In 2019, he became the first Japanese to win the same event at the XGAMES in Minneapolis, and after winning the Street League in Los Angeles, he also finished as the runner-up at the World Championships. In 2021, he crowned the World Championships with a victory, avenging his previous losses, and at the Tokyo Olympics, he became the first gold medalist in men's street skateboarding.
