FC Tokyo has signed a comprehensive partnership agreement called the "Wide Collaboration Agreement" with Tokyo Metropolis, its hometown, in March 2023, cooperating in various fields for the further development of the capital, Tokyo, and the improvement of services for its citizens.

In the fiscal year 2018, Tokyo Metropolis established the "Tokyo Financial Award" to recruit and honor fintech companies aiming to develop groundbreaking financial products and services that contribute to solving issues faced by citizens, as well as businesses that practice excellent initiatives in ESG investment.
