FC Tokyo has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, the "Wide Collaboration Agreement," with Tokyo Metropolis, its hometown, in March 2023, and is cooperating in various fields for the further development of the capital, Tokyo, and the improvement of services for its citizens.


□ Announcement from Tokyo Metropolis
The digital securities issued using blockchain technology can be issued in smaller denominations compared to traditional securities, allowing direct connections between issuers (such as companies) and investors. They are expected to accelerate the flow from savings to investment and contribute to the realization of a "nation of asset management." The city is working on projects to create diverse issuance examples, including supporting part of the expenses necessary for issuing digital securities. A symposium will be held to share know-how and challenges among stakeholders based on these examples of digital securities issuance and to discuss further issuance. This event will be conducted as part of the "Japan Fintech Week 2024" initiative organized by the Financial Services Agency.
