FC Tokyo U-18 will participate in the "2024 J Youth Cup 30th J League Youth Championship Tournament", and we would like to inform you that the details have been decided.
The 30th edition of this tournament will introduce a knockout-style tournament for the first time in 5 seasons, and the final round will be held on November 17 (Sun) at YODOKO SAKURA STADIUM.

Tournament Format
・A total of 64 teams, including all 60 teams from J1, J2, and J3, and 4 teams recommended by the Japan Club Youth Federation, will participate.

[1st Round]
A total of 64 teams, including all 60 teams from J1, J2, and J3 and 4 teams recommended by the Japan Club Youth Federation, will be divided into 16 groups and play a round-robin league in the first round (3 matches per team in each group).
The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper league (Groups 1-8) of the 2nd round, while the bottom two teams from each group will advance to the lower league (Groups 9-16) of the 2nd round.

[2nd Round]
The top league is divided into 8 groups (Group 1 to Group 8) and the bottom league is divided into 8 groups (Group 9 to Group 16), for a total of 16 groups. Each team will play 2 matches against 2 teams they have not faced in the 1st Round (2 matches per team). The top team from each group in the top league will advance to the knockout round.

[Knockout Round]
A tournament will be held with the 8 teams that advanced from the 2nd round top league, in a 1st round elimination format.
※The knockout round matchups will be determined by lottery after the end of the 2nd round.
