- Day 4 -
They had breakfast energetically without showing any fatigue from yesterday's match! However, contrary to appearances, everyone has lost weight during the daily morning weigh-ins, and each individual is required to control their food and fluid intake to adjust their condition.
After breakfast, a meeting will be held.
The accommodation is the former players' dormitory of Paris Saint-Germain, and it is well-equipped with spaces such as meeting rooms and lounges!
The people at the accommodation were very warm, greeting me with smiles every time we met and providing hospitality, making me feel sad to leave tomorrow!
During the meeting, we reviewed yesterday's match while watching footage, and issues such as "preparing for defense" and "playing with consideration of the opponent's characteristics" were raised.
I prepared for the afternoon match by confirming once again to connect and play with the neighboring players, to judge whether to pass into space or to their feet by looking at the opponent, and to always aim for the goal!
After the meeting, we moved to the Clairefontaine National Football Training Center.
This facility is owned by the French Football Association and is equipped with various amenities, including numerous pitches, a restaurant, accommodations, training rooms, and medical rooms!
We had lunch at the restaurant on the premises, were guided around the grounds until match time, and were allowed to tour the building that is exclusively used by the French national team!

Clairefontaine is positioned similarly to the JFA Academy in Japan, and it is an elite group composed of 23 selected from approximately 3,500 students in each grade. Currently, it has produced many French national team players, including Kylian Mbappé, who is active at Paris Saint-Germain FC, and Ibrahima Konaté of Liverpool FC!
We held a practice match with Clairefontaine U14, which has many future candidates for the French national team, with two 35-minute halves.
[First Half]
In the early stages, we were particularly aware of the defensive preparations discussed in the meeting, and the defense showed focused play.
However, the opponent's skill level was also high, and once the pressure was relieved, there were many scenes where they easily advanced to the goal area.
And when a free kick is given near the goal, the rebound from that free kick is capitalized on, resulting in a goal. We allow the first score.
From there, the players adjusted their defense, and little by little, they were able to create tempo, which led to more moments where they could confidently hold the ball compared to yesterday, and there has been an increase in attacks focused on scoring goals.
In that situation, when a vertical pass comes from the DF to the FW, they dribble forward, and Yuha TSUMURAYA, who was waiting in front of the goal, receives the pass and takes a shot, scoring a goal.
It was a good goal that reflected the attitude of always aiming for the goal.
After that, there were more scenes where we approached the opponent's goal, and Harushiro MATSUSHITA scored with a header from a corner kick opportunity gained through the flow of the game. Continuing with the momentum, we scored the second goal and turned the game around.
Furthermore, after that, a pass was sent from the right side into the middle, and Teru Yanai, who was waiting on the left side, calmly slotted it in for a goal. They scored the third point and pulled ahead of the opponent.
The defense, centered around the goalkeeper and center-backs, maintained their concentration until the end and finished the first half strongly.
[Second Half]
In the early stages, we were able to enter the match with a good flow from the first half, pressing from the front to win the ball, and there were several scenes where we carried it to the goal area with a short counter and managed to take shots.
However, despite the opponent's GK making good saves, we were unable to score, and the time continued without capitalizing on our chances. As a result, we gradually lost control to the opponent.
In that situation, we were caught off guard by a vertical pass from the opponent, leading to a goal as our defense couldn't keep up. Just after we managed to close the gap to one point, we faced intense pressure from the opponent, which led to a mistake in our buildup. We lost the ball, and it was carried to our goal where a shot was taken, resulting in another goal. We were suddenly brought to a tie.
Both goals conceded in the second half were scored in the same manner as the issues we faced yesterday.
The last 5 minutes saw an open game, and although a chance was created with a shot on the last play, it was denied by the post. A follow-up shot on the loose ball was blocked by the crossbar, and the match ended just like that.
Match Results

[First Half]
3-1 (Scorers: Yuha TSUMURAYA, Harushiro MATSUSHITA, Hikaru YANAI)
[Second Half]
0-2

While I am gradually becoming more active and my good plays are increasing, I still have challenges in areas such as defensive preparation, attacking precision, and competitiveness.
Tomorrow we will move to the venue where the international tournament will be held, and we will have a practice match there. We will work on correcting our issues and aim for victory, so we will prepare thoroughly to enter the tournament in good shape!
After the match, interactions began with the players from Clairefontaine through a photo session, and they quickly became friends!

I am gradually getting used to foreign cultures and am able to greet various people in French and interact with them!
They are very close and energetic players off the pitch, so I hope they can harness that energy on the pitch during the tournament and perform vibrantly!
