U-15 Fukagawa France Expedition Day 5

- Day 5 -
We have reached the 5th day of our expedition to France.
This morning, I took a walk through the forest to a nearby hotel to have breakfast.

On the way back, I took the train from the hotel to the dormitory. Although I was confused by the different system compared to Japan, I experienced the local life!

After returning to the dormitory, packing up and preparing for the move, we had lunch and held a meeting.
In the meeting, we confirmed the priority of passes and the locations for players to move to in order to aim for the goal more aggressively.
We have aligned our understanding and made good preparations for our first victory.

I greeted the staff of the facility who took great care of us and traveled for two and a half hours by bus to the venue of the tournament, SANS.

Today, we had a practice match with the local town club. Thanks to Mr. Oguri's arrangement, who wanted us to get accustomed to the pitch that will be used in the tournament, he directly requested the president of the tournament to borrow one field for our practice match.

The match was characterized by a continuous possession of the ball, resulting in a high-scoring game.

【Match 1】
In the 5th minute, Kiri INOUE scored a goal from a corner kick. Then, in the 9th minute, Yuha TSUMURAYA dribbled in from the right side, cut in, and unleashed a shot into the goal. In the 13th minute, Ryuto AI elegantly dribbled past the opponent from the center and scored. In the 21st minute, Jun AKIYAMA received a pass from behind on the left side, faced forward, dribbled past the opponent, and scored. The unstoppable Tokyo saw Jotaro YAMASHITA score a header from a corner kick in the 26th minute, and then in the 28th minute, he dribbled all the way to the opponent's goal and shot directly into the net. The match ended with a total of 6 goals.

【2nd Match】
Carrying the momentum from the first match, as the game began, in the first minute, Harukazu YANAI received a pass and dribbled down the left side to take a shot and score a goal. Then, in the 3rd minute, with pressure from the front line, they induced a mistake in the opponent's build-up, adding a point with an own goal. In the 7th minute, Harukazu YANAI received a good pass from midfield and took a shot to score. In the 13th minute, during a corner kick opportunity, Harushiro MATSUSHITA headed the ball into the goal, pulling ahead of the opponent. The momentum did not stop, and in the 18th minute, amidst a scramble in front of the opponent's goal, Harushiro MATSUSHITA pushed it in for another goal, leading to the end of the match.

Throughout both matches, we were able to try various attacking patterns without allowing the opponent to launch almost any attacks, which has given us momentum heading into the tournament starting tomorrow!

After the match, we were treated to dinner by the organizers who took care of us during the tournament!
The locals are operating as volunteers, and we will continue to live with gratitude for them.

The TSF International Tournament will finally begin tomorrow!
Embodying the theme of "Next Stage," we will fight with the determination to win every match, aiming for our first championship as FC Tokyo.
We will face Bordeaux in the first match!
Thank you for your support!
