[Day 3]
The players seem to have gotten used to living in France and slept soundly last night!
After waking up, I always go to the usual bakery and then go to the local elementary school for breakfast.
When I arrived at elementary school, it was during break time and everyone was playing, so I joined in with them.
Even if we don't understand each other's words, playing together through physical activities such as soccer and table tennis has naturally brought us closer and provided a wonderful opportunity for exchange filled with smiles!!
Afterwards, they created materials to introduce the specialties, traditions, and sports of France and the region for this day, and the students gave presentations to the children in Tokyo!
For lunch, we moved to the school cafeteria and had the local school lunch. As the children from Tokyo were eating, other students started coming into the cafeteria and many of them came to the seats where the children from Tokyo were sitting, and they communicated with each other.
The local children were very friendly and it was very impressive that they actively communicated with us.
After finishing their meal, the children in Tokyo leave the cafeteria and are greeted by many students waiting outside. They sing "FC TOKYO" loudly and ask for high fives, making them feel like professional players and bringing them great joy!
We had a great time and after taking a short break, we played a training match with AS Monaco.
In the first game played on site, the body did not move as expected, and the opponent team was able to score many points by using direct plays and other coordinated plays in the first half. However, in the second half, we gradually got used to it and our body started to move, resulting in many good plays and we were able to score back!
Through this match, the children were able to feel many things and it became a place for them to head towards the main tournament tomorrow.
For dinner, we were invited to Coco's home, just like last night, and we had the famous buckwheat galette and crepes from the Brittany region.
All of them were delicious and the children seemed very satisfied!
After dinner, we returned to our accommodation and reviewed the match footage against AS Monaco to prepare for tomorrow!
Finally, the tournament will start on the 4th day!
Until today, I have spent a very valuable time focusing on sightseeing and other activities, but starting tomorrow, I will be preparing for the tournament in order to achieve good results!
