The first match of the final round tournament. At the beginning, we were under pressure from the opponent's high physical abilities and conceded the first goal in the 6th minute, experiencing our first goal against in this tournament. We struggled to gain momentum, but Maki KITAHARA's individual skill in front of the goal led to an equalizer. After that, both teams created chances but failed to convert, resulting in a back-and-forth battle.
【Second Half】
We will make adjustments on both offense and defense during halftime and head into the second half with a united mindset.
Set play at the beginning. Finally, we succeed in turning the tables with Kaito Eguchi's header shot from the second attack.
Afterwards, Eguchi calmly dribbles past the keeper and scores, deciding the match.
In defense, the goalkeeper is the center and prevents additional points without allowing the opponent to score until the end of the game.
The excitement of the venue is amazing, and I feel the impact of my performance as I am asked for high fives and photos.
After the match, we received a treat from someone who is attending the Cerezo Osaka Ladies, who are participating in this tournament from Japan.
Kombu onigiri, takuan, and chicken. The players were delighted to have Japanese food after a long time, and were able to recover both mentally and physically.
