[Report] FC Tokyo Player Association Elementary School and Hospital Visit

On July 3, 2024 (Wed) and October 24 (Thu), the FC Tokyo Players Association conducted visits to elementary schools and hospitals.

Elementary school visits were conducted in 10 cities and wards: Fuchu City, Mitaka City, Chofu City, Kodaira City, Nishitokyo City, Koganei City, Shibuya Ward, Shinjuku Ward, Setagaya Ward, and Suginami Ward. Hospital visits included the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Medical Center (Fuchu City) and the "Donald McDonald Family Room Sakakibara Memorial Hospital" and "Sakakibara Memorial Hospital (Fuchu City)", creating a joyful time filled with smiles and fun interactions.

I interacted with the children and received a lot of energy from their bright and cheerful demeanor. Seeing them work hard and enjoy themselves made me feel once again the joy of being able to play soccer as a professional soccer player. It also became an opportunity for us players to face soccer with even more sincerity.
We want to continue being a presence that brings dreams and hope to our hometown and children as players of FC Tokyo. We would be happy if this activity encourages people to visit the stadium and inspires feelings of wanting to improve at soccer or to become a soccer player.
At the elementary school we visited, we received many warm words and cheers such as "Do your best" and "We are cheering for you." Through our activities, we will do our best to express the many powers we received in the match.
We want to continue such activities as both the players' association and the club, so that many connections can be created.
