"I have decided to retire at the end of this season. This decision was made after much thought and hesitation.
The club also tried to persuade me and offered to fight together next season.
But after thinking about it myselfand discussing with my family, I decided that this was the right decision.I am grateful for the warm reception and respect I have received from everyone, no matter what the situation. I came to Japan, played for Kashiwa Reysol, and came to Tokyo. I am truly grateful to everyone who has taken care of me.
