□Manato SHINADA comment
"I have decided to transfer completely to JEF United Chiba."
It was not an easy decision. I considered all possible perspectives and the feelings of various people. My desire to play in Chiba is the strongest, but I felt that given the current situation, this was the only way forward, and I wanted to express that.
Of course, I had confidence in what I have built up this season, and I am confident that I can perform again when I return. However, I also understand that there are things I still need to improve.
There are many feelings that cannot be fully expressed in writing right now, but among them, the biggest ones are the feelings of regret and apology towards everyone who has not been able to achieve results so far, as well as the sadness of leaving the beloved club.
I was with Tokyo for 7 seasons, including the loan period, and it may be rude for me to say this since I couldn't leave anything behind, but I want Tokyo to become stronger, so I will convey this.
Playing for Ventforet Kofu and JEF United Chiba, I felt once again that the way fans and supporters connect with the team helps the team and players grow, become stronger, and unleash more than 100% of their power.
Of course, I still believe that they are sufficiently supporting the players, and I understand that there is a certain distance between the players and the fans/supporters, which makes things difficult at times.
It's not just about being kind, but it's during tough times that I feel motivated to do my best and win for these people.
It's not good to take it for granted, but even in tough times, I hope to support the players and help them look forward in the end.
I think this is something that can only be said by players who are surely leaving Tokyo.
It's unfortunate that I can't be part of the process of Tokyo becoming a stronger and more wonderful club, but I definitely want to come back again.
Thank you very much for about 16 years, including the academy, school, and loan periods.
