Today, we announce that Yuto NAGATOMO, a member of our club, has been selected for the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) squad participating in the Kirin Challenge Cup 2025, to be held in October 2025, as announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

"I am honored to be selected again and to be able to fight as a member of the SAMURAI BLUE.

It will be a valuable opportunity to play against strong South American countries in preparation for next year's World Cup. I want to give my best performance and absorb as much as possible.

However, first as a Tokyo player, I will put everything on the line to seize victory in the match against Shimizu S-Pulse. Right now, I am focusing solely on preparing for that. By winning the Shimizu match, I will carry the good momentum and positive energy into the national team.
