Today, it has been announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA) that Masataka KOBAYASHI and Taiyo YAMAGUCHI from our club have been selected for the U-22 Japan national team members participating in the 'England Expedition' to be held in November.

I am very pleased to have been selected for the U-22 Japan national team.

Matches against the U-20 England national team and AFC Bournemouth are valuable opportunities to gain experience, so I want to see how far my abilities can compete and use that to grow.

We will do our best with awareness and responsibility as representatives of Tokyo, so that we can give back to the team the experience gained from the expedition. Thank you for your support.

"I am honestly happy to have been called up for national team activities after a long time.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, so I will give my all to ensure it contributes to my personal growth.

However, as a Tokyo player, I am first focusing on winning the upcoming match against FC Machida Zelvia. I am committed to achieving results to contribute to Tokyo's victory and will give my all in daily practice aiming to be selected for the team.
