Today, we would like to announce that Masato MORISHIGE from our club has been selected for the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan national team) members participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Asian Second Qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Qualifiers (March 24 (Thu) vs Afghanistan, March 29 (Tue) vs Syria) announced by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

I am very happy and honored to be selected for the Japan national team again this time. This is the first match of the year as the Japan national team, including players who play overseas, so I want to confirm what we have done so far and what we need to do through training. I will do my best to win this important match in the World Cup qualifiers.
