This is my first call-up since the Asian qualifiers, and thanks to the trainers and staff in Tokyo, I was able to make it in time for this period. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me so far and play my best to make the most of this last chance before the Olympics.

I am very happy to be selected for the U-23 Japan national team, and at the same time, I am really looking forward to the national team match after a long time. With about a month and a half until the Olympics, I want to fight through the Kirin Challenge Cup 2016 to grow as a team and also make a solid appeal as an individual. I want to enjoy playing soccer.
