"I am extremely honored to have been chosen as part of the 2016 season's Best Eleven. I would like to express my gratitude to all the fans, supporters, coaches, staff, and teammates who have supported me throughout the year. We still have the Emperor's Cup, so I want to prepare well and win it to repay all of you. Next season, I will do my best to have as many FC Tokyo players as possible on the stage of the J-League Awards, so please continue to support us."
