□Personal Comment
"Hello everyone! Thank you so much for supporting FC Tokyo on a daily basis."
Although it is during the season, I, Naohiro ISHIKAWA, have decided to retire at the end of this season.
This morning, I also mentioned it on my personal blog, but the injury I suffered in a friendly match against Frankfurt in August 2015, and the surgery, I returned to J3 in September last year, but my condition worsened again, and I have been working on rehabilitating my left knee, which has been hurting for my comeback, but I haven't been able to recover as much as I thought, and I have been frustrated by not being able to contribute to the team on the pitch. In this situation, I have decided to have a stronger determination, responsibility, and pride for the remaining season, and to give it my all.
However, I believe that it is only after the end of the season where we have given our all that we can look back.
I want to move forward while sharing the feelings that can only be felt now, with many friends.
I want to change the atmosphere and make a difference on the pitch at Ajinomoto, even if it's just for a short time, and connect it to results.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the fans and supporters who have fought with us and supported us, as well as to many others who have supported us so far, as a player, for the last time.
"Thank you" to everyone. And thank you for your continued support.
FC Tokyo MF No. 18 Naohiro Ishikawa
