From his time at Waseda University, where he debuted as a designated player for the JFA and J-League with FC Tokyo, to his 10th year as a professional player after graduating, Tokunaga has achieved nearly 300 appearances in the J1 League (only 2 more games to go as of 9/17!). How did this "iron man" come to be? He looks back on his childhood and shares his story.
