[U-15] Guangzhou Expedition Report Day 1

Starting today, the FC Tokyo U-15 Fukagawa & Musashi mixed team will embark on an expedition to Guangzhou, a major city in southern China, to participate in the "Football Federation Cup," held at the Guangzhou Evergrande Football School, which is the youth academy of Guangzhou Evergrande, the champions of last year's ACL.
This Guangzhou Evergrande Football School is a massive facility with a total of 48 soccer fields, both natural and artificial turf, and its scale is truly otherworldly.

Accommodation available for all teams participating in the tournament

On the first day of the expedition, after a 5-hour flight from Haneda and just under 2 hours of travel from Guangzhou airport, we had a short but solid practice session.
It was very meaningful to be able to practice today, even though it is a travel day, in preparation for the tournament starting the day after tomorrow, as I strongly felt from the atmosphere of the players.

In the meeting before practice, Coach Okuhara clearly communicated the mission: "The main objective of this expedition is to win this tournament." It was also emphasized to the players that they should compete not only as "Tokyo" but also with the spirit of representing the "Japan national team."

The meeting will convey a clear mission. Practice will be conducted immediately after arrival

In the evening meeting, the players themselves decided on their roles, and there were also mechanisms in place to help the players from Fukagawa and Musashi, who usually do not practice together, to bond as quickly as possible. I am very excited to see what kind of growth they will achieve in this short period.

Communicate during the meeting at night

The tournament will be held from the day after tomorrow, the 27th, with a total of 8 teams from China, Australia, and Japan.
