2nd day in Germany. Today, we had a training match with Wolfsburg.
A journey of approximately 2 and a half hours by bus. The players were tough and courageous, not even showing signs of jet lag, and bravely challenged.
VfL Wolfsburg is a team with achievements such as winning the German tournament in U-19 and other development tournaments in Germany.
Matches will be played in 3 sets of 25 minutes each.
FC Tokyo dominated with strength in key areas and switching between offense and defense, winning by a total of 9-0.
After the match, Mr. Littbarski, who has experience playing and coaching in Japan (currently a top team scout for Wolfsburg), commented that the team was "aggressive in both attack and defense," giving them confidence before the Denmark tournament.
In the afternoon, we visited the Wolfsburg Stadium.
The players, including Japanese players such as Hasebe, were excited to play at the stadium.
Tomorrow, we will have a training session in the morning and then travel by bus to the tournament venue in Denmark.
I want to prepare myself to make FC Tokyo's name resound firmly.
