[U-18] Second Day of the Germany Expedition

Today, after a long flight yesterday, the schedule is packed down to the minute.

After finishing breakfast, training starts at 9:00.
Loosen up with about an hour of practice in preparation for the afternoon practice match.
After that, I returned to the hotel once to prepare for the match, and was invited by the mayor of TRIFELSRUHE city for a courtesy visit.
We received welcoming remarks and a discussion about the history of the city.

After that, we headed straight to the restaurant for lunch, followed by a 3-hour bus ride to our opponent today, Greuther Fürth.

The first match of the Germany expedition is against Greuther Fürth, who are currently in 7th place in the U19 BUNDESLIGA.

As soon as the match started, after applying pressure from the front for 5 minutes, Yoshida stole the ball in the front line and scored a shot into the left corner.
After that, they continued to move the ball at a good tempo without allowing the opponent to focus, and even when they lost the ball, they maintained the rhythm with quick transitions. However, in the 15th minute, they conceded a goal due to a mistake, allowing the opponent to equalize.
Furthermore, in the 18th minute, a vertical pass created a 1vs1 situation, but GK Takase quickly rushed out and blocked it with his body.
Tokyo's Yoshida and Sugiyama approached the goal, but were thwarted by the opponent's goalkeeper's excellent saves, ending the first half at 1-1.

After substituting members and approaching the second half, in the 57th minute, Kusazumi's cross was headed by Hara but was blocked by the GK.
Even so, Tokyo continued to attack, and in the 65th minute, after quickly connecting a corner kick, Shinada's powerful shot was deflected off the right post, but Sakaguchi successfully scored with a shot into the left corner from the rebound, taking the lead.
After that, although dangerous situations were created from counters and mistakes, Shinohara, along with center backs HASEGAWA and goalkeeper Ohmoto, managed to secure a 2-1 victory without conceding a goal.

After the match, we were able to have a meal at the clubhouse cafeteria thanks to the kindness of the opposing club, and we began our 3-hour journey back by bus.

We were able to celebrate a victory in our first match of the Germany expedition, but I would like to address the issues that became apparent today and work towards further team development and individual improvement.
