[U-15 Fukagawa] 8th Day of France Expedition

The 8th day of the expedition started with the morning assembly at the police academy.
We will have croissants and coffee for breakfast in the dormitory, and say goodbye to the city of Sanse.

The first destination is Créteil-Fontenay, which takes 2 hours by bus from Sans.
The large facility deep in the forest is a facility similar to J-Village in Fukushima, Japan.

I was introduced to the facilities by the guide.
This facility was completed in 1988 and won the World Cup 10 years later.
This is a monument of commemoration.

And the first thing we were shown was the pitch mainly used by the representative of the subcategory.
There is artificial turf laid under the natural turf, which seems to reduce the burden on the players.
In addition, there is a device that generates heat between natural turf and artificial turf, and there are also facilities to maintain the turf in good condition at all times.

There are 9 pitches inside Clairefontaine, mainly used by players from the JFA Academy in Japan.
There are 7 accommodations for that purpose. It seems that the quality of the accommodations improves as the category increases.
Some facilities still have gates from 13th century temples.

We also visited a lodging facility renovated from an 18th century castle, which is used by the A national team.
The national team uses it for a total of about 5 weeks per year.
During that period, games are set up so that players and coaches can work without stress, and the locker room is equipped with boxes with key locks.
There are spike drying machines, spike stretching tools, and training facilities available.

We also visited medical facilities.
There are two doctors on duty, and X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans can also be taken.
The equipment includes a machine that corrects running form and a rehabilitation pool, creating a highly enriched environment.

Next, we headed to Paris Saint-Germain's home stadium.
Stop by the merchandise shop and then head to the French Football Association.
There, the manager gave us the World Cup (championship cup).

And visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
During the trip, we also had the unique experience of encountering a demonstration parade, and finally arrived at the Arc de Triomphe.
It was truly impressive, perhaps due to the fact that a commemorative ceremony was being held.
The radial roads extending from the center of the circle were very beautiful, especially the Champs-Élysées.

Saying goodbye to PSG's Mr. Oguri, who accompanied me from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the interpreter this time.
We received support in all aspects during this expedition and you also fought as a member of the team in the game.
The feelings of Mr. Oguri, who continues to work hard alone in France without any Japanese people around.
In addition, the players and staff will do their best to respond to the feelings of the various people who took care of them during this expedition.
