[U-18] Day 7 of the China Expedition

We welcomed a surprisingly cool morning, considering the weather on the first day.
While some players showed signs of fatigue from yesterday's match, everyone made sure to have a proper breakfast to aid in their recovery.

In the cafeteria, highlights of the tournament, which are being broadcast locally from the morning, are shown on television, and both the goal scenes and the goal difference scenes that I don't want to see too much are watched multiple times during breakfast, lunch, and dinner while eating.

The match was rescheduled from 17:00 to 16:00 due to the heat easing, and kicked off.

The opponent is the local team Shandong Luneng. Many supporters gathered, making it the game with the strongest away feeling in this tournament.
The match was dominated by the ball throughout, with Tokyo attacking and Shandong defending.

Although they maintained possession of the ball, they struggled to score, and as the atmosphere became tense, they conceded a goal from a counterattack just before the end of the match.
They continued to threaten the goal but were unable to score, resulting in a 0-1 defeat.

Mr. Ko, who had been accompanying us on the expedition, will leave the team after this match, so we fought to win and express our gratitude, but we couldn't send him off with a smile.
Still, I received a message from Mr. Hu saying, "I will support you in the last match!"

The day after tomorrow, the last game in China will be against Australia's Newcastle Jets FC.

At the end of the meeting held after dinner, the players showcased their talents to boost the team's spirits for the match the day after tomorrow.
The room was filled with laughter (even during quiet moments...) and the team's atmosphere improved even more.

3 days left for the expedition.
I want to aim for further growth as a team.
