We would like to inform you that it has been decided at the J League board meeting held today, December 15 (Tuesday), that FC Tokyo U-23 will participate in the 2016 Meiji Yasuda J3 League.

 The formation of FC Tokyo U-23 and participation in J3 aims to strengthen and develop players aged 18 to 23, while also challenging the bottom-up approach of the academy at various age levels. FC Tokyo aims to be a developmental club, producing representative players for the Tokyo Olympics to be held in 2020, ultimately aiming to improve the level of Japanese football and develop players who can succeed on the world stage.
